About me (as a designer)

I am a recent design graduate with close to three years of internship and volunteer experience in the field. I have a wide skill set spanning typography, color, balance and hierarchy in both product design and advertising. I'm a process-oriented designer who enjoys each aspect of a design's development, from researching and building assets, to synthesizing them into a cohesive project.

About me (personally)

I live on Long Island, New York. In my free time, I love discovering new music, watching obscure documentaries and hiking with my friends. Having new experiences enables me to channel my creativity through a variety of lenses. When creating new projects, I often pull moods from different media.

About me (Professionally)

I'm looking to work in a collaborative environment, one where I can enhance my creative and technical skills. Tailoring designs based on the consumer is what keeps me engaged as a designer. I find real fulfillment in using my skills to create value and facilitate communication through strong visuals.

My Process

Research

Research

The initial stage of every project is the research phase. First, I strive to thoroughly identify the client's goals. Second, I identify the target audience in order to effectively meet their individual needs. Third, I do a comparative analysis of competition in order to help the client stand out.

Design

Design

The goal of this section is to apply the research gathered prior. In order to maximize the quality of the user experience, the information is used to build wireframes of each screen and to create a flowchart that maps out the entire project. On the aesthetic side, I gather assets and imagery, decide on fonts and develop a color scheme.

Synthesis

Synthesis

This is the part where visual elements are applied to the wireframes and to create screens that will mirror the appearance of the finished product. After that, these screens are used to build a functional prototype.

Modification

Modification

Once the initial prototype is completed, it is presented to the client to identify any feedback or criticism. From there, all necessary changes will be made until the project suits the consumers needs!
